Kendrick Lamar says Detox got pushed back because of the “good kid, m.A.A.d. city” album

Kendrick Lamar’s highly anticipated good kid, m.A.A.d. city has officially dropped. In a recent interview with Dutch blog Puna.nl, he spoke on initially getting a call from Dre’s team, and touched on the Detox being pushed back.

Detox got pushed to the back just because Dre really found interest in my music and push that immediately.

Kendrick Lamar says he has 30 tracks with Dr. Dre

Kendrick Lamar has had the whole Hip Hop world on it’s toes with his recent collaboration with Dr. Dre. In an interview with DJ Whoo Kid, Kdot stated that he has already laid about 30 tracks with Dre. THIRTY! He also goes on to talk about SchoolboyQ, A$AP Rocky and Snoop Dogg – and wanting to work on an R&B track with Erykah Badu. Did we mention that he’s locked his spot on the Detox album?
