Jay-Z Wants Blue Ivy to be “Respectful and a Moral Person”

While A-Listers have been busy with award show preparation and fashion show attendance, the Carters have been enjoying life on the South of France. In a recent interview with the NY Times, Jay-Z reflects on Blue Ivy’s future on how it will differ from how he was raised.

“I actually thought about that more before she was born. Once she got here I’ve been in shock until maybe last week? We would fight each other. My brother would beat me up,” he says in the interview about his youth spent in the projects. I was going to have to fight, I was going to have to go through some things, and they were preparing me.”

But Blue Ivy? She has other things to master in her lifetime agenda.

But Ivy “doesn’t have to be tough. She has to love herself, she has to know who she is, she has to be respectful and be a moral person”

Beyonce had a brilliant glow at last night’s Met Gala in New York city. When asked about motherhood and future children, she gushed about wanting more. What about her amazing tight body?

“I’ve been working really hard. There are no secrets. Discipline.”

Beyonce talks pregnancy and not feeling beautiful

Even though Beyonce was named World’s Most Beautiful Woman by PEOPLE Magazine, she didn’t feel like it through out her pregnancy:

“I didn’t feel that I looked beautiful during birth,” Bey told PEOPLE. “But who does? After being pumped with all those fluids and gaining so much weight, with my swollen lips and cheeks, I barely recognized myself.”

BeyBey gained 50 pounds while carrying her baby, but she did her best to maintain her appearance:

“I tried my best to roller-set my hair, and I wore my [lip] gloss when I arrived at the hospital. I committed to the end and wore my kitten heels. It makes me laugh thinking about it.” Finally Queen B threw in the towel … not that she really had a choice in the matter. “After many hours of labor, I didn’t care how I looked. It was all about the miracle that God gave me — the opportunity to deliver a human being.”

Fortunately, she was able to drop the baby weight quickly. See more below.

Mommy and Daddy Carter have a pending trademark on their famous baby’s name. The funny part of this story is two other firms submitted applications to trademark “Blue Ivy” too, but they have been happily rejected. #TRIFLIN!!

Beyonce talks about Blue Ivy and how it feels to be a mother

Beyonce exclusively spoke with UK Star Magazine in her first interview since giving birth. In it she talks about the instant connection with Blue Ivy and the motherhood cliche’s that are actually true.

Beyonce gave birth to Blue Ivy earlier this month and the singer admitted the experience was overwhelming.

She told us: “Nothing can describe the feeling. You have the instant connection once you know your child is growing inside you, but when you hold it for the first time, the words can’t be found.

“It’s an old cliche that the thing expectant moms look forward to the most is holding their child in their arms for the first time, but it’s one of those clichés that is a real truth.”

Beyonce revealed Jay-Z is equally excited about being a father and said they couldn’t wait to bring their daughter home.

She explained: “I am so excited. From the time I knew I was pregnant we have been parents.

“A child is the greatest gift you can receive, and we are so excited and blessed to be in this situation.“We are all great, we are just glad to be going home and starting this new stage of our life.

“The hospital staff have all been so great, but we were ready to go home and show our beautiful daughter where she will be living.”

Rumor has it (Adele voice) that Jay-Z and Beyonce may bank up to $14 milli for the first photos of Blue Ivy. Fo’TEEN!!!! I doubt they will release any pictures soon though. What do you think?
