Taylor Swift’s “Red” Sells 4 Million Singles in One Day

There’s no doubt that Taylor Swift has loyal and supportive fans. In fact, they proved that notion this morning. The Pop singer’s Red album dropped yesterday, and has already sold 4 million tracks off the album on itunes. Imagine what her first week’s sells are going to look like?

Earlier today Good Morning America was a little confused about the numbers and tweeted:

Taylor Swift’s new album #RED has only been out for a day and has already sold over 4 million copies. #TaylorOnGMA

Tracks off the album, not album sells. Brian Mansfield, a USA Today correspondent for Nashville, Tennessee quickly clarified.

Quick reality check: @taylorswift13 has already sold 4 million tracks from #Red, not 4 million copies of the album. Give the girl some time.

Lol. Have you gotten the album?

Photos: Kendrick Lamar Performs in the Streets of LA

Yesterday, Kendrick tweeted he was having a free show outside of Staples Center right after the Laker game and that was all it took for the craziness to begin. The Laker game started at 6:30 which would mean the game should be over about 8:30pm. Across the street from the Staple Center is where Kendrick performed at.

According to Zyaire of Porterhouse LA, Kendrick performed for a good 18 minutes before the cops shut him down because that 100 turned into about 400 as soon as the Laker game was over. So many people that Figeroua & 12th street was filled with people and stopped traffic. Kendrick performed Swimming Pools twice and The Recipe.
