According to a statement from Michael Clarke Duncan’s publicist, the successful american actor has died at the age of 54, at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He suffered a heart attack in July and did not fully recover.
Duncan was nominated for an Academy Award for his role in the 1999 film The Green Mile, and most recently he was on the TV series, The Finder, on the Fox network. His co-star Mercedes Masohn tweeted:
“Today is a sad day. Michael Clark Duncan passed away this morning. Known for his moving performance in The Green Mile. RIP MCD. You’ll b missed.”
Besides his mother, Jean, and his sister, Judith, he is survived by his fiancee, actress Omarosa Manigault.
